Professor of Physics at Ewha Womans University, and a member of the Committee on S&T Policy in the National Science & Technology Council, Prof. Kong-ju-bock Lee went over a brief overview and statistical analysis of women resources development. By comparatively analyzing various indices published by international organizations designed to measure women’s development, Prof. Kong-ju-bock Lee offers a potential way out for countries around the developed world, struggling from aging population and secular stagnation. South Korea, with lower than OECD averages of women’s resources development, has much grounds to gain by closing the gender gap.
