<Special Lectures for Science Talk Concert> aims to expand ELIS participants’ vision as women scientist leaders by promoting in-depth discourse on emerging scientific issues, especially on the topics of science for sustainable development and science in the digital age. These special lectures will inspire ELIS participants and provide an optimal opportunity for them to interact and build solidarity with women experts in these fields.
Two women scientists will give special lectures on the same STC topic prior to participants’ STCs on the third and fourth themes. These special lectures will broaden participants’ understanding of science communication with the public as well as their knowledge on the current and future issues of the topic.
